Representing General Baptist Bible College (GBBC) with pride and passion, Zanti Emmanuel Marquez from Grade 8-Gilead and Kris Michaellie Alvarez from Grade 9-Sinai showcased their exceptional talent and skill at the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet for Dance Sport Modern Standard held on March 2, 2024, at Sasa Elementary School. Competing against top contenders from Davao City, the duo from GBBC displayed finesse and precision, securing multiple accolades in various categories.
In the fiercely contested competition participated by various public and private schools within the entire Davao City, Marquez and Alvarez exhibited their prowess in a series of dance routines, earning commendable placements across different disciplines. Their dedication and hard work paid off as they clinched the following impressive rankings:
6th place in Slow Waltz
7th place in Quickstep
6th place in Tango
4th place in Foxtrot
6th place in Grade A- Modern Standard Discipline
Their performances captivated both judges and spectators alike, with their seamless execution and expressive movements setting them apart from the competition.
Marquez and Alvarez’s success, along with their coach, Teacher Mary Grace Odoy, not only brings honor to themselves but also shines a spotlight on the talent and dedication fostered at GBBC.
