On April 13, 2024, General Baptist Bible College (GBBC) proudly opened its doors to host a vibrant volleyball tournament for the Federation of Parent Teachers Association (FPTA) in REgion XI. The tournament, held at the GBBC Covered Court for women’s volleyball and Libby Road Gym for men’s volleyball, brought together FPTA officers and parents from various schools in REgion XI for a day of spirited competition and camaraderie.
The GBBC community went above and beyond to extend warm hospitality to the FPTA participants, who were appreciative and impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and seamless organization of the event. The attendees also expressed admiration for the beauty of the GBBC campus, further enhancing their overall experience.
Amidst the bustling tournament activities, GBBC’s very own PTA Volleyball team, GBBC Generals, had their scheduled game and emerged victorious. Led by their captain, Iana Kristine Enoc, the team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, securing a well-deserved win. Enoc’s outstanding performance earned her the title of Player of the Game, further highlighting GBBC’s prowess on the volleyball court.
The success of the volleyball tournament not only reflects GBBC’s commitment to promoting sportsmanship and community engagement but also underscores the institution’s dedication to providing a welcoming and hospitable environment for all. As an institution, GBBC takes pride in fostering connections with the broader community and creating opportunities for meaningful interactions and mutual appreciation.
The GBBC community extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the success of the tournament. As GBBC continues to uphold its values of excellence, hospitality, and inclusivity, it looks forward to hosting more enriching events that bring people together in fellowship and celebration.
