In a stirring display of faith and devotion, students of General Baptist Bible College (GBBC) were treated to an uplifting message during their year-end Institutional Chapel Service for School Year 2023-2024. Led by Rev. Eric Ortega, the service, held on May 10, 2024, resonated with themes of excellence, purpose, and the abundant blessings of God.
Rev. Ortega, a seasoned storyteller and respected figure in the Christian community, captured the hearts of the audience with his profound words and personal anecdotes. He emphasized the importance of excellence in one’s endeavors, urging students to find their purpose and embrace God’s abundant blessings. His message resonated deeply, prompting many students to stand and respond to the altar call, reaffirming their commitment to faith and service.
As part of the year-end Chapel service, the induction of Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) officers of the elementary department, Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers of the Junior High School and Senior High, and the Student Body Organization (SBO) of the college added a sense of unity and purpose to the service, underscoring GBBC’s commitment to holistic development.
As the echoes of Rev. Ortega’s words lingered in the hearts of those present, GBBC students departed with renewed vigor and a sense of purpose, ready to embrace excellence and fulfill their divine calling in service to others.
